Nachdem ich nun wieder einen Raum habe in dem ich genug Platz für das Hobby habe, geht es auch direkt los mit einigen Death Korps Death Riders. Ich liebe diese Modelle und finde es sind die schönsten von allen Death Korps Modellen, aber ich wollte sie leicht verändern und zum Thema meiner Armee passend gestalten. Also wühlte ich mich ein wenig durch Bücher und das internet bis ich auf sehr schöne Fotos von Französichen Dragoons gestoßen bin. Die Helme sind einfach suoper schön und ich konnte mir sehr gut vorstellen diese auch für meine Death Rider zu benutzen. Also habe ich mir French Dragoons von Perry Miniatures bestellt, da deren 28 mm Maßstab bestens für den truescale von Forgeworld geeignet ist.
Nachdem die Box endlich eingetroffen war konnte es auch direkt mit dem leichten Umbau losgehen. Die Helme der Reiter wurden so verändert dass sie den Dragoon typischen Helmschweif aufnehmen konnten.
Die Bemalung der Modelle wurde auf Basis des Banners entschieden. Ich habe mich für dass Banner der 9. Preußsischen Kavallerie entschiden und um ein Farblich stimmiges Konzept zu erzielen wurden die Uniformen schlicht Schwarz.

I once again have a room where I have enough space for the hobby, it's
also going directly to some Death Korps Death Riders. I
love these models and find they are the most beautiful of all the Death Korps models, but I wanted to change something on them so that they fit for my Army theme. So
I dug myself a little through books and the internet until I'm found some very beautiful pictures of standard French Dragoons. The helmets are simply suoper beautiful and I could very well imagine this to use them for my Deathriders. So I orderd some French Dragoons of Perry Miniatures because there 28 mm scale is ideally suited for the true scale of Forge World.
After the box finally arrived, it could also go directly to the slight modification. The helmets of the riders where changed that they could take up the Dragoon helmet typical tail.
The painting of the models was decided on the basis of the banner. I
have made my decision for that banner of 9 Preußsischen cavalry and to
obtain a color-consistent approach the uniforms were simply black.
